It is our pleasure to
offer you a great tennis weekend at Borrego Springs Resort February 24-26,
2012, located in northern San Diego County. This desert oasis is
nestled amongst the foothills of the Santa Rosa Mountains in the Anza-Borrego
Desert.
This full-service resort features an array of amenities including six lighted
tennis courts, a 27-hole championship golf course, one hundred guest rooms
and suites, two swimming pools featuring cabanas and Jacuzzi, brand new spa
plus fine dining at The Arches.
The rooms all have a small kitchenette with a sink, microwave and
refrigerator so you are welcome to bring your own food and beverage.
You may enjoy your own food and beverage in your room, on your patio or at
the pool/jacuzzi (plastic or cans, no glass). There is a snack bar open
for breakfast and lunch at the golf course as well as The Arches restaurant
open for all meals if you wish to purchase your meals.

SDTN
is sponsoring a full weekend of tennis activities February 24-26, 2012.
We will be offering three tennis mixers, one competition, balls provided for
organized tennis, and a catered barbeque on Saturday evening. No
potluck for you this weekend, we’re providing dinner on Sat. night!!
Your weekend begins with an organized mixer on Friday, Feb 24,
2:00-5:00 pm. A "Meet and Greet" "No Host" Cocktail
Hour 6:30-7:30 pm on the patio of the The Arches. That evening you can form up foursomes
for tennis under the lights, go to town for dinner, enjoy a gourmet meal at
The Arches or "?."
On
Saturday, Feb 25, join us for an organized mixer from
9:00 am to 12 noon and a social competition
from 2:00-5:00 pm. That evening enjoy
dinner at The Arches at 6:30 pm on us including hamburgers (portebelo hamburgers available upon
request for vegetarians), hot dogs, potato salad, zesty cole slaw and
fresh-baked cookies and brownies for dessert. You may purchase your own
beverages from the bar. After dinner you are once again welcome to form
up your own foursomes under the lights or join some of us going into town,
Sunday,
February 26, play an organized mixer from 9:00
am - 12 noon, before leaving for
home.

After that date, the trip will open up to non members at the cost listed

maintain a waitlist of non-members until January 15 at which time I will take
non-members in order of notification to me.)
Deposit
of $100/pp is due upon making reservation with balance due by January 24,
2012. No refunds after January 24,
2012.
For those of you who
would like to golf and join us for our social events; you may come for
$199 which includes rooming and social events and then pay just $50 per
round for golf.
This
trip will be limited to 40 tennis-playing participants due to the number of
courts. Golfers and non-tennis playing "significant others"
are welcome to come enjoy the resort and our social activities.
